Please Join our Team!!  We are always looking for great personalities and great bookkeepers to join our group.  Our firm provides outsourced accounting, bookkeeping and payroll for clients onsite and offsite. We offer temp-to-perm, temping or long term contracting solutions. Our clients use QuickBooks desktop or online solutions primarily. We have employees in three states and are expanding our practice. We offer life insurance, flexible hours, cell phone allowance, and prorated health insurance reimbursement (based on number of hours).

Our employment process consists of an initial phone screen, background and reference checks and an online screening exam to qualify you for one of the positions below.

Employment Positions with Turn Key Office

Staff Accountant – staff accountants are expected to be proficient in closing procedures, compiling and reviewing financial statements and providing a high level consultative role with client management and owners. Accounting procedures design and review roles may be assigned.  Advanced QuickBooks Desktop and Online certification, accounting degree, CFE or CPA is required, along with suitable business management experience. The position would be expected to provide outsourced CFO level work as well as mentor and oversee work for junior teammates.

Senior Bookkeeper – senior bookkeepers have an exceptional grasp of accounting fundamentals and both QuickBooks online and QuickBooks desktop solutions. Senior Bookkeepers can function to resolve client problems with a great deal of independence and initiative. Senior bookkeepers will understand all aspects of payroll, financial statement presentation, accounting procedures and various 3rd party applications and integrations. Approximately 10 years of experience in various roles and/or advanced certification or accounting degree is typical.

QuickBooks Desktop/Online Bookkeeper – this position requires strong accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger reconciliation maintenance, journal entries and troubleshooting skills.   Lack of experience in a few key areas such a payroll, balance sheet related schedules, advanced inventory or job costing would be expected. Approximately 4-6 years of experience, a quickbooks certification in either desktop or online, or a general bookkeeping certificate would be typical prerequisites for this role. 

Junior Bookkeeper – this position requires fundamental accounting knowledge in accounts payable and account receivable and bank reconciliation maintenance.  Coursework in bookkeeping or accounting and/or suitable 2-3 years of experience would be typical. This employee would be expected to continue learning skills by taking advantage of the many online resources available. This position would only be at onsite locations under unusual or specific circumstances.

Intern – this position is ideal for a candidate with only one or two accounting or bookkeeping courses who wants to explore this industry. These positions would not be onsite at client locations but would be under the guidance of Senior Bookkeepers or Staff Accountants.
